Millions of us are currently working from home (WFH) due to the COVID-19 situation. "A game a day keeps coronavirus at bay". During these strange times of self-isolation, it’s very easy to feel lonely, sad, and desperate for a bit of normality in your life. An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), is essentially a document that outlines how energy efficient your property is. Back in April 2018 the minimum energy efficiency standards (MEES) came into effect which said that all tenancy renewals, or newly rented property must have a minimum energy performance rating of an ‘E’. From 1st April 2020 the regulations extend to cover existing residential tenancies, which means that under the new legislations, rented properties with a rating of an F or a G cannot be rented out.
